Type Chronology Book
This project is called the “Type Chronology Book”, meaning it features spreads from different eras of type faces.
I have featured two of the more successful spreads throughout my edition of the book. In this we have on the verso pages (left side), the name of the era of type face, some key characteristics, a specific font family featured as well as a few notes about the history of both the font and era of typography being featured. As for the recto side (right side), there is a graphic utilizing two letterforms from the chosen font and highlighting the relationship between those forms through a figure-ground style design.
