This design is one out of a suite of three designs intended for hard cider packaging. This one was the most successful out of the trio, so I chose to highlight this design on its own.

The design is inspired by the theme of the cidery: Tall Tales. This story is called “Stormalong” and it is about a pirate of the same name as well as his crew that sails the waters of the English Channel and surrounding waters. While exploring these waters, they encounter a Kraken and Stormalong fights the beast with his bare hands. This pivotal point in the story with the Kraken’s arrival was the key inspiration for the illustration I did for this package design.
